So here is the deal, this list was provided very kindly by Emma, (thanks Emma!). As I’m lazy it took me ages to upload this…. so sadly all the movie have been out for ages, (sorry Emma!)
To have some fun with it, I’ve replied to Emma’s gay, camping instructor type tone of voice below each post in orange.
Enjoy
It’s summertime! Why not grab all your friends, head out to the movies, order some popcorn, drinks, and treats, and enjoy some of the hottest movies of summer 2013? Don’t know what movies to watch during your ‘summer movie camp’? No problem, we’ve got you covered. Here is a list of the top 10 movies you HAVE to check out this summer!
1. The Lone Ranger
Honestly, this movie is hit or miss. If you’re a Johnny Depp fan you will probably adore this movie, or you could be displeased at the fact that it’s more like a western themed Pirates of the Caribbean duplicate. Either way, the Lone Ranger is an action-packed film that will keep you enthralled the entire time.
“Hit or Miss”…. It was a miss Emma! As for Johnny Depp fans, they don’t exist anymore after this piece of sh&t.
Sorry Emma this was as “enthralling” as a prostate exam from your male doctor.
2. Man of Steel
Think this movie is ‘just another Superman’ movie? Think again. This astounding film will keep you on the edge of your toes as it brings the superhero back to life like never before.
“like never before”, wrong again. I’m pretty sure that you are the last person to have mentioned this move since it was released. And yes, it was just another Superman movie….
3. Pacific Rim
Sci-fi lovers need not worry about whether or not an amazing film will be produced this summer- Pacific Rim has you covered. This film will take sci-fi adventures to an entirely new level with the use of monsters, crazy mechanics, the list goes on and you’ll have to see it to believe it.
This was f&cking great… not just for nerdy sci-fi fans, (as if there is any other kind, right?). Sorry for the rhetorical question, (an apology would be nice Emma.)
Back to the movie ….I think this was the best movie to hit the cinemas this year. If you missed it, you’re a f%cking idiot….. It was in 3D… 3D!
4. The Wolverine
Plenty of X-Men fans craved to see their favorite X-Men character on his own, strayed from the pack. Well, that’s exactly what ‘The Wolverine’ does: give you the action you crave without the rest of the X-Men group.
“Plenty of X-Men fans craved to see their favorite X-Men character on his own”….Pretty sure there was a Wolverine movie before this one Emma and he was on his own too. Judging by the above review, I bet you can’t f*cking contain yourself now that you know there’s two pretty site movies out there with just him.
5. Elysium
The fight against good and evil is brought to life in this futuristic film. It’s one that sci-fi, action, and thriller lovers will have to see. Matt Damon puts together a provoking film that will send chills up your spine.
Provoking: Stimulate or incite (someone) to do or feel something, esp. by arousing anger in them.
Provoking but not for the right reasons.
6. Kick-Ass 2
Remember that hysterical, yet totally awesome film ‘Kickass’? Are you ready for round 2? Of course you are! If you loved the original Kickass film, you will definitely have to see the sequel. Just be prepared to hold your sides!
“Just be prepared to hold your sides”, what does that mean Emma? I’m pretty sure rhetorical questions are for dickh£ads, are they not?
7. The Hobbit
Lord of the Ring fans were expecting a bust from ‘The Hobbit’. But the fact of the matter is, this movie brought the same enchantment and excitement as the LOTR movies, and brings the book to life in an amazing, mystical way.
F&ck the Hobbit! F*ck me, movie were sh*t this Autumn/Summer!
8. Monsters University
Monsters Inc.: you saw it, and you loved it. How could you not? Just thinking back to that lovable, comical little movie brings a smile to your face. If you’re ready to get that same good feeling from a movie, you’ll have to see Monsters University.
Not seen it but Emma loves rhetorical questions. It makes her sound like a summer camp instructor… maybe made that point earlier but it’s still relevant, is it not?
9. Despicable Me 2
Despicable Me? Yes, please! Despicable Me 2? Even better! The fun and adventures continue into the second movie, and you definitely won’t regret watching this cute film.
Emma is one more rhetorical question away from being strangled.
10. The Great Gatsby
If you love a good drama that is filled with passion, excitement, and love, then you need to check The Great Gatsby. Based off one incredible book by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the movie brings the enticing pages to life in a magnificent way.
A review that both Fitzgerald and Baz Luhrmann would be proud of!
